HOMEGOINGHQ — SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

Entity: EdConsult LLC d/b/a HomegoingHQ (Michigan LLC) | Notice: 1098 Ann Arbor Rd W, #479, Plymouth, MI 48170 Last Updated: July 18, 2026 | Version: 1.0

1. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS

HomegoingHQ offers recurring subscription plans, currently including Vault Keeper (ongoing document storage beyond a plan’s included allowance) and any other subscription offered at the point of sale, plus co-brand partner subscriptions (e.g., funeral-home partner plans). Each plan’s features, price, and billing frequency are described at purchase.

2. BILLING CYCLE AND AUTO-RENEWAL

2.1 Recurring billing. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis and renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled.

2.2 Affirmative consent. Before you subscribe, we present the subscription’s price, billing frequency, and auto-renewal terms, and obtain your affirmative agreement (see Payment Terms & Authorization, §5). We send a confirmation after purchase.

2.3 Renewal date. Your renewal date is the anniversary of your subscription start (monthly or annual). We may attempt to charge on or around that date.

3. CANCELLATION (“CLICK TO CANCEL”)

You may cancel at any time through your account billing settings or the customer portal — no phone call required — or by emailing care@homegoinghq.com. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for refund treatment.

4. PRICE CHANGES

We may change subscription prices prospectively with advance notice as required by law. The new price applies at your next renewal after the notice period; you may cancel before it takes effect.

5. FREE TIER AND UPGRADES/DOWNGRADES

5.1 Free tier. The free tier is available at no charge and includes the features described in-app. It is not time-limited.

5.2 Upgrades. Upgrading takes effect immediately; billing adjusts per the plan terms shown.

5.3 Downgrades. Downgrading or cancelling may reduce features and, for storage plans, may trigger allowance limits and the grace/deletion process described in §6.

6. VAULT KEEPER — STORAGE, LAPSE, AND DELETION

6.1 Allowance and metering. Each plan includes a document/storage allowance. When you reach the allowance, uploading new documents requires an active Vault Keeper subscription; existing documents remain accessible (read-only at the cap) as described in-app.

6.2 Lapse and grace period. If Vault Keeper is cancelled or a payment fails, a grace period of 45 days applies, during which you may download your documents and are notified to do so.

6.3 Deletion after grace. After the grace period, documents exceeding your plan’s included allowance may be permanently deleted across your estates. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important documents. See the Data Retention Policy.

7. TAXES AND FAILED PAYMENTS

Applicable taxes may be added. Failed payments are handled per the Payment Terms & Authorization (retries, suspension/downgrade, or grace period).

8. CO-BRAND PARTNER SUBSCRIPTIONS

Partner subscriptions (e.g., funeral-home partner plans) are governed additionally by the applicable White-Label Partner Agreement. One subscription covers one partner location; partners may not resell, sublicense, or provision the Platform for other providers.

9. RECORD-KEEPING

Subscription consents, renewals, price-change notices, and cancellations are logged with version, timestamp, plan, and account identifier.
