HOMEGOINGHQ — PAYMENT TERMS & AUTHORIZATION
Entity: EdConsult LLC d/b/a HomegoingHQ, a Michigan limited liability company (“HomegoingHQ”) Notice address: 1098 Ann Arbor Rd W, #479, Plymouth, MI 48170 Last Updated: July 18, 2026 | Version: 1.0
1. SCOPE
These Payment Terms & Authorization govern all purchases on the HomegoingHQ Platform, including one-time plans (e.g., Companion, Settle), gift purchases, the Vault Keeper subscription, co-brand partner subscriptions, and any provider/designer transactions processed through the Platform. They are incorporated into the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
2. PAYMENT PROCESSING
2.1 Processor. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. (“Processor”), and, where applicable, its sub-processors. Your use of payment features is also subject to the Processor’s terms and privacy policy. HomegoingHQ does not store your full payment card number; card data is handled by the Processor in a PCI-DSS-compliant environment.
2.2 Accurate information. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information and to promptly update it. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.
3. AUTHORIZATION TO CHARGE
3.1 One-time purchases. By submitting an order, you authorize HomegoingHQ and its Processor to charge your selected payment method for the total amount shown at checkout, including the price of the item and any applicable taxes and fees.
3.2 Recurring subscriptions. For subscription plans (including Vault Keeper and any monthly/annual plan), you authorize HomegoingHQ and its Processor to automatically charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected) at the then-current price, until you cancel. Your authorization remains in effect until you cancel or the subscription terminates.
3.3 Gift purchases. For gift purchases, you authorize a one-time charge for the gift amount. Gift redemption is subject to the terms shown at purchase.
3.4 Saved payment methods. If you save a payment method, you authorize its use for future purchases and subscription renewals you initiate or enable.
3.5 Updated card information. You authorize us and our Processor to use card-updater services and to charge an updated or replacement card provided by your card issuer to avoid interruption of a subscription.
4. PRICES, TAXES, AND CHANGES
4.1 Prices. Prices are shown at the point of purchase and are in U.S. dollars. Displayed prices are set by HomegoingHQ; the amount charged is the price shown at checkout.
4.2 Taxes. You are responsible for applicable sales, use, or similar taxes, which may be added at checkout based on your location and applicable law.
4.3 Price changes. We may change prices prospectively. For subscriptions, we will provide advance notice of a price change as required by law, and the new price applies to the next renewal after the notice period. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
5. SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL, CANCELLATION, AND AUTO-RENEWAL DISCLOSURES
5.1 Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. For California and other auto-renewal-law states, we present clear-and-conspicuous auto-renewal disclosures before purchase, obtain your affirmative consent to the auto-renewal terms, send a post-purchase acknowledgment, and provide an easy online cancellation mechanism (“click to cancel”).
5.2 How to cancel. You may cancel a subscription at any time through your account billing settings or the customer portal or by contacting care@homegoinghq.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; it takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless otherwise stated.
5.3 Effect of cancellation. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy and, for Vault Keeper, the storage grace-period and deletion terms described at purchase and in the Data Retention Policy.
6. FAILED PAYMENTS AND PAST-DUE ACCOUNTS
If a charge fails, we and our Processor may retry the charge. We may suspend or downgrade paid features, or, for Vault Keeper, begin the applicable grace period, if a payment remains unpaid. You remain responsible for amounts owed.
7. PROVIDER, CONCIERGE, AND DESIGNER TRANSACTIONS; PAYOUTS
7.1 Marketplace payments. Where the Platform facilitates payment for third-party provider, concierge, or designer services or products, HomegoingHQ (via the Processor) may collect payment and remit amounts owed to the third party, less applicable platform fees/commissions, per the applicable agreement.
7.2 Families pay HomegoingHQ. For co-brand partner instances, families pay HomegoingHQ directly for their own accounts; partners are not charged for family accounts.
7.3 Payouts. Payouts to providers/concierges/designers are governed by their agreements and the Processor’s payout terms, and require valid tax and payout information.
8. AUTHORIZATION RECORD
Your payment authorizations (including recurring-billing consent) are recorded with the applicable terms version, date/time, amount or plan, and account identifier, and retained in an audit log.
